How your data is handled

• You need an Alpha Vantage API key to fetch market data.
• Your key is used directly from your device to call Alpha Vantage.
• The key is stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB) and is never sent to any other server.
• The app simply visualizes data and calculates KPIs. It is not affiliated with Alpha Vantage.
• Use the app at your own risk; market data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.
• Each added stock triggers ~7 API requests; the free tier currently includes ~25 requests/day.

Personal data

This app does not collect, process, or transmit personal data to a server. No tracking cookies or analytics are embedded.

• Local storage: Settings, your API key, and cached stock data are kept only in your browser’s IndexedDB.
• Third-party requests: When you fetch data, your browser contacts Alpha Vantage directly using your key.

GDPR/Privacy rights

Because data is stored locally, you control it:

• Access/Portability: You can view and export your settings and cached data from your browser.
• Rectification: Update settings anytime in the app.
• Erasure: Clear the app’s storage via your browser (clear site data) or use the app’s settings to reset.

Security measures

• Your API key is stored only on your device.
• Protect your device and browser; anyone with access to your device could access the key.
